ISLT 9417 Technology Action Research
Course Description: Study of concepts associated with action research; and the processes and procedures for conducting action research. Culminating project is the development of an action research project.
Reflection: I had never participated in action research before this class and I was a bit intimidated about what I would have to do to be quite honest. I was suprised by how participating in an action research project showed me how to better critically think about what I am implementing in the classroom. It showed me the importance of recognizing the need to change and improve upon what I am currently doing in the classroom. My action research was about how videos can help with students learning mathematics in and out of the traditional classroom. This course and project ultimeatly changed how I view action research as well as how I will use videos in my classroom in the future.
