Brittany Williams First Webpage!

I am excited to get started! I have never created a webpage before! As I think about the topic of my final website, here are some possibilities:

Topic Option 1

Student Resource Website

One of my ideas is to create a website that my high school students can access for extra help when I am not right there to help them. The website will have the following purpose:

1. To link students to videos of the material we are covering in our unit and lesson for extra help.
2. To give students extra resources such as pre-made notesheets for them to use during the lesson.

Topic Option 2

Teacher Resource Website

Another idea I have is to create a website for my colleagues to use to support what I am teaching on professional development days. I agree with what McREL has to say about helping educators.

We strive to help all educators be the best they can be—which is why we offer a number of resources that help teachers and leaders improve their skills and gain insight into best practices in the field.

I am confident in the material from McREL that I will be sharing with my staff. I want to support them in anyway I can so that they feel that they are supported in this new learning.
